Please note:

Lately we receive many requests from people in need, who live outside Europe and ask for our help to get a humanitarian visa to come to the Netherlands to ask for asylum.
Unfortunately, the Netherlands does not have a programme or policy which makes it possible for asylum seekers to come to the Netherlands with a visa to get asylum.
The Netherlands does not have a sponsorship programme for asylum seekers either.
 

The main focus of our organisation is to assist asylum seekers in the Netherlands, after their asylum request has been denied by the Dutch immigration authorities.  Our method is aimed at developing a new perspective for them, which can be realised in the form of either a legal status in the Netherlands, a voluntary and safe return to the country of origin or resettlement in a third country.

Furthermore, we support local faith communities in the Netherlands reaching out to asylum seekers in need.

We also assists municipalities that have to deal with social issues regarding asylum seekers in need, finding practical solutions that are acceptable to all parties concerned.

Together with other ngo's, and in cooperation with the National Council of Churches in the Netherlands, we pursue a lobby campaign to promote just and humane treatment of asylum seekers, in accordance with the Geneva Refugee Convention and European human rights treaties.
